Rev. Kimberly Orr

is currently the Pastor of Spiritual Formation for Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.   She is originally from Livingston, Texas. 

 

Her undergraduate degree is in Music Education from Sam Houston State University and her first Master's degree is from Rice University in Choral Conducting. 

 

During the mid 1990's Kimberly was the Associate International Tour Manager for the Houston Grand Opera, and toured with the company of Porgy & Bess and Four Saints in Three Acts.

 

She ultimately answered her call to full-time Pastoral Ministry in 1998 and received her Masters of Divinity in 2005 from Asbury Seminary.  She was ordained a full elder in the United Methodist Church in May, 2009.

 

Kimberly has a passion for deep Biblical study and gleaning truths from the Jewish roots of our Christian faith.  In the spring of 2010, she received her certificate of Jewish Learning from Hebrew University via the Florence Melton School for Adult Learning.

 

Kimberly is an avid board gamer, acoustic guitar player, and watcher of British mystery series. 

 

She is blessed with two fabulous children:  Josiah (20) and Miriam (23), her son-in-law Josh (25), granddaughter, Ellie (4), and grandson, Sam (1).
